In this class, you will learn:

• How to select wall art

• Where the best locations for wall art are and how art can enhance the overall aesthetic of a space. For example the prime meeting spaces (like the living room or dining room), the low-level storage units and the “odd corner”. 

• How to make a space progressively more simple or more complex with wall art by changing 4 elements: the contour of the group, the underlying framework, the colour and style of the frame and the piece of art it contains.

• How to align the art with the furniture and other elements of decor

• How to create a composition and how art can inspire the arrangement of our home decor items

• How to use colour and materials to make your compositions look like one element

• How to adapt your environment to make the newly acquired art look like part of the composition

• I’ll also be answering a question one of my students sent regarding what to do with different decor elements.
